Green get-together & potluck

Being organized! Judy Moss & Tom Macchia are working on getting this worked out--among the items to be discussed are getting Greens registered in Alaska. State ballot access increased from 17 states at the beginning of 2006 to 31 by the end of the year; something's working right in the rest of the country for the Green Party. Let's see if we can get that magic working here! Please post suggestions for the potluck here.

Hi, saw Judy tonight and will again next week in connection with a project to participate in Non-Violent Civil Disobedience action here in Anchorage.
Any Greens out there interested in participating or supporting let us know. We also await suggestions re this potluck. Unless we hear otherwise we will sign the South Central Greens on as co-sponsors of the action. Also saw Diane Benson at the Alaska Public Health Association summit this week. She was there for the showing of "Pathway to Hope: Healing Child Sexual Abuse" which she produced and narrated. It is a very moving film that had me in tears. I highly recommend it especially for those who have experienced or have those close to them who have experienced abuse. Her run for congress should prove an interesting opportunity for some Green Party action. I was thinking that we could ask "If Diane does not get the nomination, would you register as a Green? I did not discuss this with Diane by the way. Just putting out the idea.
